All Schools - 2.5 hour early closure 1/12/24

All Oregon City School District Schools will close two and a half hours early tomorrow, Friday, January 12, 2024. This is due to expected heavy snow and a desire to get all students and staff home safely and timely.  Classes will be on a modified schedule and buses will operate two and a half hours ahead of their normal dismissal route schedules. Students will have an opportunity for lunch prior to being dismissed. 

We encourage families to make transportation and attendance decisions for their students based on their own assessment of travel conditions at their location. 

Early Dismissal Times: 

Elementary Schools  - 11:40 am

Gardiner and Tumwata Middle Schools - 1:25 pm

OCHS - 12:45 pm

OCSLA - 12:50 pm

CAIS -  12:50 pm

Kindergarten Students who ride the bus will need to have a parent / guardian or older sibling to receive them at drop-off.

Early Childhood Education Students at Jennings Lodge, there will be no Aftercare. Please arrange to pick up your student at the end of class at noon.

After The Bell students will need to make transportation arrangements for the end of their school day. There will be no After the Bell.

All After School Activities are canceled and all evening practices are canceled.
